On a cold autumn day like today, when the rooms are dark because the sky is covered with clouds,
I like to enjoy the warm glow of candle light. It makes me feel all warm and cozy...
I like to enjoy the warm glow of candle light. It makes me feel all warm and cozy...
I hope you're warm and cozy wherever you may be today, too.
Today is Veterans Day here in the U.S. Words can't express how grateful I am for all of the veterans
who have sacrificed so much for our country.
I hope you all enjoy the long weekend.

ReplyDeleteI love the candlelight! It makes everything so cozy. Is that boxwood in your basket? We have it everywhere at the lake and I meant to bring some home to decorate with for the holidays! It's so sturdy and pretty!

So beautiful. I passed a basket up like this today and now that I see how beautiful yours is, I wish I had purchased it! Nothing beats the warm glow of a candle.

ReplyDeleteCandles burning or a single candle burning can really change the feel of a room. I always try to have one burning at night. I love the scented ones! Yum...

Such a peaceful photo. The rain is here in Southern California, too. Such a welcome addition to a piddling Saturday.

Oh, such pretty photos! So glad I visited! :)
ReplyDeleteHi Jo,
ReplyDeleteCan you believe I haven't lit one candle yet this Fall? I love them and the glow though. We just installed a new fireplace (woodstove) with a window. Our old one had a solid door and I told Dale 'what's the use of having a fire if we can't see it?' So now we see it and I love the glow it casts in the room.
Your photos are so lovely!!!
hugs from here...
sooooo wuuuuuunderschön.
